“We are like a flower extending itself with all of its being towards the sun (representing my desired state of perfection). The flower reaches for it at all times good and bad. Thus to become perfect is to function like the sun flower. It is not as easy for me as it is for the flower. Yet choosing to exert the effort brings me closer to my spiritual father. Perfection is an ongoing process rather than a finished state.

I stride towards perfection when I don't rest on my laurels, nor allow myself to be defined by my failures, but move on. The movement is difficult, it requires boldness on my part. So I arrive at a bizarre conclusion from my contemplation: perfection rides on the shoulders of imperfection.  And when I reach the completion of my current spiritual process, I will gain further perfection.”
