PISCES, THE FISH

In the words of Ogden Nash: "Only the game fish swims upstream.  The sensible fish swims down."  Pisces is both of them at once - two identical fish, inextricably bound together - and going in opposite directions. Two fish in bondage to one another and going, or trying to go, two ways at the same time. It is a neat trick if you can do it, but it is not often done well.

In the Piscean Age, the Way to Perfection lay in the message of the gentle Jesus of Nazareth with his exhortations to be a believer. The Piscean Age of BELIEF is still a predominant theme in many of the world's religions and philosophies. But the Age of Aquarius has dawned, and "the times they are a’changing" as we make the transition into the Age of KNOWLEDGE. These two exhortations are linked for us in the Message of Pisces: "To say 'I believe' is to say 'I don't know’."

When we don't know about something, we must fall back on belief. Conversely, when we rely on belief, we are only acknowledging that we really don't know. Believing is still very much a part of our cultural mindset. Most people still operate on the basis that whatever they hear or whatever is said to them they are required, or at least expected, to believe. We are finding it harder and harder to believe all these things which we are told, and yet we know how dynamic believing can be.

Belief is a useful tool BUT we are becoming aware that what we believe determines our hang-ups. In our pursuit of wisdom, we are trying to get rid of our hang-ups.

Therefore, while still a believer in many senses, let us always keep in mind that believing is NOT knowing, and that to become WISE one must KNOW, not BELIEVE. The Age of Pisces is now in the past.

ALTRUISM is the Key to Understanding Aquarius.  Altruism is simply giving things away.  This is the meaning of the symbol for Aquarius being pictured as the Water Bearer pouring forth his gift upon all of humankind.  Now, in Aquarius, is when we have our chance to perfect ourselves and the world.

AQUARIAN PROPHECY

WHAT DOES THIS PROPHECY MEAN?  

Our bodies are symbolically made of the same clay that goes into the making of every brick.  We finally GIVE OURSELVES, totally committed to the raising of the consciousness of mankind, so that the spirit of the "Lord of this World" will come to dwell in the temple WE MAKE of ourselves.  Thus shall we raise our vibrations by becoming pure in heart to the level necessary to be able to SEE God, and in so doing raise the "vibration level of the earth until it glows like a new star in the heavens."  This is the goal of wisdom - Perfection.

This is also the Masonic meaning of the pyramid on the US dollar bill ... the freedom offered by the New World in the building the temple... and the placement of the "All Seeing Eye" as a capstone.

We are now in the beginning stages of this prophecy, and these are certainly interesting times we live in!  

One of my students wrote to me with the following:
"Since the beginning of the year, I have had an intuition of an impending event. As this unknown event draws nearer, I am finding it difficult to move forward in my life - almost like a wall has been put up in front of me. I am having difficulty keeping my mind on the college courses I’m studying, and difficulty planning events more than a few days out (very unlike me) - It is even beginning to effect me physically, something that has never happened before.
 
"I am wondering that by studying The Way, meditating daily, and opening up to The Father and Goddess, if this might be what is causing the rise in acuteness of my awareness."

No doubt she is correct in saying that her meditations are allowing this message to come through… “Take this time to prepare because ‘the times - they are a changing’.”

PREPARE FOR WHAT?

Recently, on the way in to town I saw a huge Golden Eagle sitting in a tree by the road. The Eagle is a symbol of the Great Spirit and our connection to the Great Mystery. When I see them, I feel like my connection must be strong.

Later in the day I saw a bald eagle sitting in a tree by the roadside while visiting a friend - another sign that what I was doing - was done from a place of joy - and blessed by the Great Spirit.

As I left the house this morning I felt “on top of the world”!!  I know it was my joyous feeling that was attracting these beautiful feathered messengers into my life!

Can we really change the world with our thoughts? Can we think the world into a better place?

Let’s consider the power of our thoughts on an individual level.  What do you do when someone you love thinks and speaks badly about you?
•    Do you continue to think and re-think what they’ve said or done?
•    Or do you direct your thoughts to the attributes of that person which are more pleasing?

A student told me recently that she's been having a lot of family problems, and had reached the point of wanting a divorce.  I reminded her to dwell on what she really wanted, instead of what she was afraid she would have to do.

Just a few days ago she told me that she had tried this even though she thought all was lost.  Not long after changing her thinking about the kind of future she dwelt upon - things had turned around in her family life and now she feels better than ever!

The Law of Cause and Effect tells us – for every thought or action there is an equal and opposite re-action.  In other words, what goes around comes back around.

When we use this great natural law to our advantage we call it the Law of Attraction.  If I want to attract loving thoughts and actions into my life, then I must think loving thoughts and speak loving words at every opportunity – regardless of what anyone else thinks.

We can’t change anyone but ourselves.  However, this is an excellent place to begin, because our thoughts have powerful effects upon others in our vicinity.

Can we really influence others with our thoughts?

How to make friends and how to be a friend is the lesson of this Aquarian influence of Friendship.

It’s easy when you think about it.  
     •    Treat others as you would like to be treated.  
     •    Allow people to be themselves.  
     •    Support them through crisis by being present, by listening, and by doing what you can, while allowing them to make their own decisions. 

How do I know this?  Isn’t this what you want for yourself?

In the aftermath of the Super Tuesday Twisters that rolled through this area, I saw many, many outdoor cookers going along side the highway, and signs that read, "Free Water, Ice and Food".  People were helping people in a great variety of ways.  A friend of mine told me she and her children camped out with 10 others in a cabin with wood heat, during the week the power was out.

The great Law of Cause and Effect tells us, what goes around comes back around.  When we use this great natural law to our advantage, it becomes the Law of Attraction which says, that which is like unto itself is drawn.  In other words, everything is vibrates, and so do our thoughts.  Every thought sends out a vibrational frequency which acts like a strong magnet attracting similar vibrations to it.  We literally attract into our experience that which we dwell upon the most.

If what goes around eventually comes back around, then I definitely want this Natural Law to be working in my favor.  This is especially important for those who work magic with that pure, positive, high vibrational Source Energy of Love.  If I want this loving energy to come around and show up in my life, then I need to always be ready to give love away at every opportunity.

•    I can feel the influence of Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, who urges me to have friends and to be a friend.
•    I can share what I know from my own personal experiences, altruistically, by giving away my help and support to those who show up in my life.

Do you treat others as you would like to be treated?  If the Creators were watching you today would they see you being kind and loving toward everyone?
